When I was just a kid back in the seventies, I always loved when the family would take a trip to go visit my grandparents. They were about a six hour ride away from us, so whenever we did go, we always stayed over one or two nights. Back then, it was just me and my sister, my mom and my dad. Granted the attention, food ,and gifts from my grandparents was all great, but what I remember best is the kids bunk bed they had waiting for us in the extra bedroom.

More and more public are getting into journalism as a vocation because they feel that this is one livelihood that would give them freedom in terms of work schedule, office attire, and even in speaking their minds in terms of news and opinion.

If you are one of those of the community who are looking forward to a journalism calling, it is best if as early as now, you would start qualifying yourself for the position. The best thing that you need to do is really know if the journalism employment option is really what you want to do. It is best to understand the industry very well first before you finally decide on it.

Many people determine that their best course of action to land the perfect job is to go to college. But before you can go to college, you have to:

• Figure out which college to attend
• Decide whether you will get an Associate’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree
• Determine what you will major in like accounting, computers, business, teaching, law, medical field, or others
• Where will you live while attending college (on-campus or off-campus)
• How are you going to pay for college

While making your decision about which college to attend, you will find there are many options.
